It means a great deal to Vina that Harrison Grierson supports her in being an advocate of ecologies and sociologies across the natural and built worlds.

“I also get to design beautiful things, make connections, and create space for mana whenua to be decision makers toward the future of the wonderful country we live in” she says.

An NZILA registered landscape architect based in our Design Studio team out of Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Vina’s passion for the outdoors comes from a rural upbringing, a lifetime of travel, and a love for birds.  “I’ve been travelling my whole life so I like experiencing new places all the time,” she says.  “Like many Kiwis, I have a preference for tramping and camping especially because of the amazing birdlife that usually comes with. “I’m always wanting to share these experiences with my friends and family, they mean the world to me,” she says.
