No two days are the same for Steve Thomas – and that’s just how he likes it. HG’s ever-evolving list of new drone and high-definition scanning solutions, a great team, and our clients’ wide-ranging and exciting projects keep him on his toes.

Steve says survey is so much more than new titles and placement of infrastructure relative to boundaries and/or design. He says the latest drone technologies have opened up a world of comprehensive, high-quality solutions, including asset condition assessments, disaster recovery land damage triage, asset management and digital twins. 

Steve encourages his clients to ask lots of questions, so they fully understand the wide range of cost-effective survey solutions we have available. He’d love to see his work reflected in resilient communities where his children and grandchildren can enjoy sustainable futures.

When he’s not in the office or out in the field, Steve heads for the ocean to indulge his inner hunter-gatherer.
