Richard Murfitt

Richard joined Harrison Grierson as one of our star graduates over 10 years ago, and hasn’t looked back since. During this time he has taken on a wide range of roles and responsibilities, honing his skillset to progress his career and deliver great outcomes for clients.

He now heads up our Christchurch and Wellington survey teams, working across a huge scope of projects and helping to upskill those under him to the levels of expertise he has attained in his time with us.  

A dedicated professional and strong communicator who builds lasting relationships with our HG clients, Richard is also instrumental in running company social events, which he sees as helping to reinforce the positive culture within the company.

“HG is a great place to work with great people. I really love the diversity of what we do every day,” he says.

Away from work, Richard enjoys playing most sports, including futsal and tennis. He has also recently finished building his own house.
