Dan Scott
Technical Director - Urban DevelopmentDan Scott is a man on a mission. As Technical Director, it’s his role to apply his considerable expertise across land and urban development areas nationwide, ensuring effective implementation and project management – and also coaching and mentoring to develop technical capability within the team.
Now based in Parnell, Auckland, he has been designing and managing land development projects in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors since 1994, both here and in the United Kingdom.
“What I love about Harrison Grierson is working with a great team and the variety of awesome projects we get to work on,” he says.
Dan has extensive experience in earthworks, sediment control, drainage, pavements, water supply and services associated with land development, especially in the Auckland area. He’s also quite the communicator, with positive skills in public relations and consultation.
Outside of work Dan enjoys paddle boarding and mountain biking. “Although I don’t get to do it very often as most weekends I’m usually chasing my kids around sports fields.”
