Dan O’Neill

Dan is most definitely part of the furniture here at Harrison Grierson having started in 1997 as a survey assistant.

Studying land surveying while working his way up the ranks, 26 years later Dan is now our Cadastral Team Leader in our Auckland office.

A musician at heart having played in his band Kitsch for some 25 years, surveying has come a long way technology-wise since back in the day. ‘

’Scanners and drones are rapidly changing the way we survey, present, and collect data’’, says Dan.

No two days look the same for a surveyor at Harrison Grierson and at the moment Dan’s running between meetings with his team, compiling programmes for our interns and making sure his people are fulfilled and happy in their work. Because at the end of the day, ‘’it’s about the people’’ says Dan.
