Ben Wooster

Based in Tauranga, family man Ben started out in the industry as a survey assistant, working his way up the survey ladder over the past 20 years on an impressive array of projects.

He now manages our survey teams for the BOP and Waikato Regions, guiding a diversely skilled group of surveyors, technicians and graduates.

“Being a truly forward-thinking and progressive company, we are always looking for new ways to undertake surveys,” he says. “We are skilled in the traditional forms of Land Survey, but we are also highly skilled in the 3D space with our fleet of UAVs and high-speed laser scanners.”

It’s part of the reason Ben loves working at Harrison Grierson. “There isn’t a box you’re put in,” he adds. “The choice is yours on which way you want to take your career.”

Outside of work, Ben’s life mostly revolves around family, and especially lakeside camping trips. He also attempts to relive his glory days playing rugby, and enjoys kayaking, beach life and many other outdoor activities in his beautiful part of the world.
